Biggerhouse Films!: An evening of rich and uproarious film-making from Bristol- and Somerset-based Biggerhouse and friends. Tom Stubbs from Biggerhouse introduces 10 short films made with skill and love and the help of people who dont often get to tell their stories. Films by and about people with dementia, people with learning difficulties, travellers and other great human beings in the South West & Wales. This inspiring selection not only introduces valuable new worlds, but also shows the different ways in which film can teach, learn, explore & entertain!

Tom will answer questions about the making of each film and the purpose it serves. Were used to seeing film simply as a medium for entertainment or information. Biggerhouse shows that these qualities can be combined with a function of self-expression and exploration the making of the films is as rich and rewarding as the finished product. For more information on their inspiring work, visit www.biggerhouse.co.uk

Films from Biggerhouse is on Sunday 28th March, with the Bar opening at 7pm and the screening at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5 (concessions available for those on limited incomes) and should be booked on 0117 924 4512 or info@pieriancentre.com.
