The Levellers: Brighton folk-punk legends Levellers have long been and still are, one of the best live bands around. Often overlooked is their outstanding back catalogue of recorded music. The Levellers sold more platinum, gold, and silver albums in the 1990s than any other act. They have ignored fads, fashions and trends, and in doing so have existed alongside them.
The Levellers are the perfect role models for other bands trying to find their way in todays music scene having released their own records, bought their own building/ studio and started their own sell out festival in the UK, Beautiful Days, which is now approaching its eighth year.
This is folk music as it is meant to be.a stirring call to arms, a get-off-your-knees-and-resist rock record, hard-hitting and hard to forget
