TV COMEDIANS COME TO THE GUILDHALL
Funhouse Comedy Club returns to the Guildhall Arts Centre Ballroom on Thursday February 29th for a great night of laughter
Topping the bill is writer, actor and comedian Justin Moorhouse who has appeared on TV in Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, Live at the Apollo, Coronation Street and Phoenix NightsWith his easy-going and charming persona he entertains everyone, relating his tales and clever observations and has them hanging on to his every word
Opening the night will be the affable Ben Norris who has appeared on TV's 'Never Mind the Buzzcocks' and 'Mock the Week' as well as being the voice on campaigns for Carling and EmiratesOnce when he was the warm-up man for 'Mock the Week' he had to stand in for Frankie Boyle who was rushed to hospitalA natural comedian, his sharp mind-set and supply of clever lines keep his audiences totally absorbed
Also appearing is the dynamic Jessie Nixon, with her friendly stage presence and a sharp wit, she fascinates the crowd
Completing the line-up will be the absorbing Stephen Catling with his outlook on work as an autistic person and the struggles it can bring in the world as it is
Compere for the night is the amiable and animated Spiky Mike
