Tuesday night comedy in Reading.
Funhouse Comedy returns to the Purple Turtle, Reading for another night of laughter.
Headlining the night is comedian, writer, radio broadcaster and TV presenter Nick Page. Often recognised as a previous presenter of BBC property programme ‘Escape to the Country’, he accidentally fell into comedy as a bet, but soon turned professional after his first open mic appearance. With his mixture of cynical observation and storytelling he complains about the frustrations of dealing with the overstretched British justice system, resulting in a truly hilarious act.
Supporting will be the relaxed and sociable Luke Graves with his sharp wit and clever punch lines.
Completing the line-up will be Chris Norton Walker telling his hilarious anecdotes and former Romanian professional stand up comedian Radu Isaac, switching to English speaking comedy he finds the balance between strange and relevant.
Compere for the night will be the calm and carefree, writer and stand-up Tony Cowards with his quick wit and hilariously stupid jokes.
