The Burton Joyce Comedy Club features talented comedians for a night of non-stop laughter and entertainment.

Join us for our opening night of fun and laughter!
Doors open at 6.30pm, last entry at 7.30pm and the show starts at 8pm No set seating, first come, first served, so be sure to get here early to get the best ones
There's also a bar, serving soft and alcoholic drinks, bottles of prosecco to share and packet snacks Please note: Customers are kindly reminded not to bring their own alcohol into the venue

Karen Bayley - Compere

Karen Bayley is a midlands based act hailing from BirminghamKaren has been on the circuit for over a decadeShe made a name for herself early on in her career reaching the semi-final of the prestigious BBC New Comedy Awards and was later crowned the winner of the 2001 Komedia New Act prize, she followed by becoming the first ever female winner of the prestigious Comedy Store King Gong award as well as reaching the finals of both the BBC New Comedy Awards Showcase and Babycham Funny Women

Delightfully saucy, her friendly and confident stage presence, combined with a killer wit, an infectious giggle and some devastating one-liners make her a comedic force to be reckoned with, a warm and welcoming with a delightfully saucy and spiky edge, her bold, no nonsense attitude strikes a perfect pitch with men and women alike

Jo Enright

For more than a decade Jo Enright has worked with many of the UK's leading comedy writers and directorsAs a regular collaborator with Ricky Gervais and Peter Kay, Jo has starred on numerous Netflix, HBO, BBC, ITV and Channel 4 productionsAmongst other performances Jo has recently appeared in Ricky Gervais' 2022 Netflix smash hit Afterlife, Guz Khan's Man Like Mobeen, Peter Kay's much loved Phoenix Nights and Steve Coogan's I'm Alan PartridgeShe received rave reviews for playing the female lead Sue, in Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant's HBO series Life's Too Short, and the part of Angela in three series of the ITV and Netflix's The Job Lot
