Starting the season with the return of their all-time favourite act - DANNY BUCKLER
The all-time favourite act of promoters Laughing Coyote, there would be noone else to close the first show of 2016. Danny Buckler is a comedian, raconteur, improviser, story teller and occasional magician as well. But tonight will be all about the LOLs.
A hopeless romantic with a love of the theatrical, his tales of uncharacteristic derring-do, brushes with stardom, and journeys of hapless love, can go on forever.
"A Hancockian treasure" Russell Brand
"A really lovable show from a really lovable guy" The Skinny****
"Buckler has a light touch and a disarming delivery which combine to weave the strands together naturally" Steve Bennett, Chortle
Supporting Danny is rising star George Rigden
Bristol-based musical comic, George, has been making an impact on the UK comedy scene since debuting in 2013. A sardonic wit and knowing act, always willing to highlight his own shortcomings to hilarious effect.
"George Rigden has to be one of our favourite new comedians. Musical (not in a naff way), personable and cheeky. We won't hesitate to book him at every available opportunity." Mark Makin, co-director, Cheltenham & Leamington Spa Comedy Festivals
"Managed to combine the bombast of Mitch Benn with the creepiness of Earl Okin" Julia Chamberlain, Chortle
"Certainly a name to watch out for in the future." Bristol Culture
Plus more to be announced.
'Laughing Coyote Presents...' brings the hottest and funniest acts on the scene to an intimate and friendly comedy club environment.
