Imelda May: Irish female Vocalist Imelda May hails from Dublin and is best known for her singing and Bodhran playing.
Her debut album was 'No Turning Back' in 2005 and her latest release is 'Mayhem' (2010) Four singles have been released from these albums.
Imelda May won Best Female at the Meteor Awards in 2009 and she has achieved critical acclaim for her take on Rockabilly, jazz and blues combined with the traditional Irish sound.
