Unchosen Bristol Film Festival: Film Festival raising awareness of human trafficking and surrounding issues. With pre film performances and post film discussions and Q&As with the film directors. Hand-out material and action plans. Exhibitors from local & national related organisations.

On Tuesdays from 26th October to November 9th.

Paths of Pain UK PREMIERE

The Paths of Pain are populated by men and women of all ages, suffering from lack of affection, lack of money, mental problems, alcoholism and drug addiction, or they are simply people who have come to a new country in search of a life that is a little better.

Tuesday 26th October

Three Shorts

1. Bristol Bike Project A short film about cycling, recycling and asylum.

2. Echoes A female sex trafficker faces an unexpected moral dilemma

3. Brazils Child Prostitutes This recently shot documentary shows the scandalous reality of children used and exploited in the sex trade in Brazil.

Tuesday 2nd November

Understanding Trafficking

A documentary following young girls lured across borders into the sex trade in India, and exploited by their own communities in return for a steady income. The film stresses the need to allow migration and migrants whilst, at the same time, pulling out all the stops to prevent Human Trafficking.

Tuesday 9th November

Cargo - live musical with animation.

The story of the appalling struggles of African slaves and the Abolitionists fight to end the slave trade 200 years ago. The musical exposes that its still in existence today, here in the UK. It aims to show how in the past and the present ordinary people can make a difference.
