Founded in 1996, The Chiltern Camerata is an amateur string orchestra for adults which meets approximately fortnightly in the High Wycombe area during school term time. We are a non-profit organisation.

Our players include music professionals and advanced amateurs. Our objective is to share the enjoyment of music-making and to bring a wide range of music to our audiences. We stage about three concerts per year and through this we provide an opportunity for soloists to perform with an orchestra and help raise money for charity. Often we combine with wind players, choirs and others to offer a wider range of music than the typical string repertoire.
