Macclesfield Silk Museum: The Heritage Centre, Roe Street, is situated in the centre of Macclesfield and provides a focus for community and cultural events in the town. The Heritage Centre houses the Silk Museum , the Silk Shop , the Victorian Schoolroom and the Mulberry Tree Coffee Shop.

The Silk Museum, Park Lane: This building was once The Macclesfield School of Art built in 1877 to train designers for the silk industry. It now houses exhibitions exploring the properties of silk, design education, Macclesfield's diverse textile industries, workers' lives and historic machinery.

Within The Heritage Centre is The Silk Museum. This tells the story of the development of the silk industry in the town through an award winning audio visual programme. Silk Costumes and textiles illustrate the important of silk to fashion and its use for other special occasions. .
