Clear the diary, gather together the family and get yourself down to the Select Security Stadium on Saturday 27th August to support our local footballing stars, as Liverpool Ladies FC team tackle their next opponents, Doncaster Rovers Belles. This summer, school’s out and football’s in!

Kicking off at 5.30pm, the match is being played as part of the FA Women’s Super League (WSL), and is set to be a fantastic evening out for all the family.

What’s more, players such as Gemma Bonner, Siobhan Chamberlain, Natasha Harding and Rosie White will be on hand post-match, meaning lucky football fans could be in with the chance of meeting some of their favourite players for selfies and autographs galore – a fantastic way to walk away with a personal memento of your experience supporting Liverpool Ladies FC. But that’s not all. Those able to arrive from 4.30pm can enjoy a range of the exciting, family-friendly match day activities on offer. So as well as the excitement of a quality FA WSL match, you can also enjoy:

• The opportunity to meet Mighty Red, the club’s official mascot
• The chance to participate in Mighty Red’s half time penalty shootout game on the pitch
