San Diego progressive post-hardcore. Pierce The Veil rose to the top of the Equal Vision records scene known for great hardcore music backed with a positive attitude, through a combination of hard work, hard music and a blistering live show. Five years, a legion of die hard fans and a major label deal with Fearless later, PTV's sound is still as exhilarating as ever. The original line up led by the Mike and Vic Fuentes is still basically intact and the experience shows. 2010 saw them release of one of the top ten hardcore albums of the decade, Selfish Machines, and proved for good that not only can Pierce The Veil make you dance hard but they can make you think deeply as well. Pick up a lyric sheet for Selfish Machines and see if it doesn't force you to ask yourself some hard questions. Their latest 2012's Collide With The Sky gave us more of the same, and helped Pierce The Veil open more doors when they played the entire Vans Warped Tour to the delighted faithful. 2013 U.K. beware. Pierce The Veil is on the way.
