Trail Plus Adventure Challenge Series

Grizedale Forest, Saturday, 31 March 2012

31 MAR

Trail Plus Adventure Challenge Series: For all you adrenaline junkies' looking for an adventure and a challenge, we have just the event for you. The Adventure Challenge Series offers teams of three the chance to take on an off-road, multi-terrain environment where a 10km (7 mile) run, 25k (15.5 mile) mountain bike ride and a 1000 metre kayak canoeing course are all part of the experience.

You have four glorious landscapes to choose from which include memorable military training areas to get you in the mood for the excitement of tackling our largest adventure playground yet.

Each event is available for mixed teams of three which can include male, female or a mixture of both.

Map reading is not required as all routes are fully marked out. So rather than losing your sense of direction, you can fully focus on the adrenaline rush as you take on the challenge.

Although most teams finish the course between 3-5 hours, don't feel pressure and take things at your own pace, that way you can set goals that suit you and complete the event on your own terms.

Gear doesn't even have to be a problem as all equipment necessary is provided, unless its mountain bikes and helmets, in which case, a pre-bookable hire service is available for those keen to take part.

The overall cost is £145.00 per team of three, excluding additional bike hire costs that are available.

This experience isn't exclusively for professional athletes, anyone who finds fitness fun is welcome to take part. It's the perfect opportunity for anybody who wants to set themselves new goals or raise money for charity. Sponsorship and fundraising will benefit CLIC Sargent, the official race charity, who works with children and families affected by cancer.

If this has already got the adrenaline pumping then feel free to start planning your challenge experience now.
