Prom Art: Held in the openair on the Grange-over-Sands promenade this event has grown to attract all ages.
The biggest openair art gallery in the North West with over 80 stalls held on the last Sunday each month from April to September. This will be our 48th event.
Professional and amateurs from the North display a very wide range of unique, quality and unusual items. No commercially made items, except for labelled prints and photography.
Pictures are not just oils, watercolours, mixed media and pastels but includes encaustic art (using beeswax), a silversmith naturally uses silver and two people use a sewing machine. A cartoonist can capture the personality of your pet.
Crafts include jewellery which can be made specially for you by many of our people, there are so many styles to choose from.
You can see wooded flowers being crafted; wood turning and carving, driftwood and ride-on toys for children; glass both stained and fused; texiles include scarves, cushions and bags.
Dolls house minatures and stone village minatures can be seen.
Where else do you see a blacksmith in a craft fair?
