Fighting On All Fronts: The Royal Welch Fusiliers during the First World War
The Royal Welch Fusiliers saw action on the Western Front, Italy, Egypt and Palestine, Iraq, the Balkans and Gallipoli in a series of hard-fought contests on the road to eventual victory with the armistice in 1918. This exhibition, based on the reserve collection of the Royal Welch Fusiliers Museum, follows in the footsteps of the men who served in the ‘war to end all wars’ from the heady days of August 1914 to the long-awaited peace five years later.
