Royal Crown Derby Visitor Centre: Royal Crown Derby china is known and collected throughout the world. The fine traditional skills have led to an international reputation for quality and creativity. The Royal Crown Derby Visitor Centre has been created to provide an insight into the traditions, the history and the skills that go into making Royal Crown Derby so special.

With a museum, factory tours, a super factory shop and a restaurant serving a wide range of delicious food, a visit to Royal Crown Derby is a great day out.

Royal Crown Derby houses the most comprehensive collection of Derby Porcelain to be seen anywhere in the world. It includes pieces from all three of the factories in our history.

The museum is open 7 days a week and admission is included in the price of your visitor centre ticket. This is not the only Museum containing historic pieces of Royal Crown Derby in the area, for only 10 minutes walk away is the Derby City Museum with its own fine collection.

Factory tours are available from Monday to Friday and on the first Saturday in each month.

The museum is open from from 9. 30am, and factory tours take place at 10am, 11am, 1. 15pm and 2. 15pm (the 2. 15pm tour is not available on a Friday).

Admission: £4. 95 adults: £4. 75 concessions:

£4. 50 groups of 20+

The rest of your visit can be fitted in before or after your factory tour. Allow a minimum of two hours.
