On Saturday 2nd April, Kidderminster music lovers are in for a treat at whatpromises to be an exceptional concert featuring World Class soloists.
Kidderminster Choral Society will welcome four outstanding soloists to
perform in their Concert - “Italian Passion - An evening of Opera” at
Kidderminster Town Hall. A concert featuring choruses and arias from the
world’s most popular operas together with Rossini’s choral masterpiece,
Stabat Mater.
The soloists featured are Soprano, Linda Richardson, Mezzo Soprano - Katie
Stevenson, Tenor - Robyn Lyn Evans and Bass - Quentin Hayes. All have
performed with English National Opera, and other credits include Welsh
National Opera, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Scottish Opera and
many more. Opera lovers of Kidderminster and beyond are in for a feast of
melody and drama.
Kidderminster Choral Society has a reputation for performing a varied
repertoire with top quality performances. They will be accompanied by the
acclaimed professional Elgar Sinfonia. This concert is worthy of a Symphony
Hall venue and Kidderminster is fortunate to have this available in its own Town Hall.
