The 450 acres of parkland is a surprising oasis of calm away from the bustle of Torbay. Take time to stroll around and enjoy the variety of scenery and wildlife that exists at Cockington. Whether you want to picnic and watch the cricket in front of the court, visit the walled Rose Garden, glimpse wildlife on secluded woodland walks through the lakes or learn something new in the organic kitchen garden, Cockington Village can be enjoyed by everyone.
Step back in time to visit thatched cottages, Lutyens Drum Inn and enjoy cream teas which epitomize Cockington. Features include:
Cockington Court - the building was originally owned by the De Cockington family between 1130 and 1350 and the second floor houses many traditional craft studios. These are open 7 days a week, free of charge and feature handcrafted glassware, wheel thrown pottery and handmade jewellery
Drum Inn - light lunches and fine cuisine at this delightful traditional English Pub. Food is served all day (01803 690264)
