We set off from Longmarsh, Totnes at midmorning and follow the gentle meandering of the river until we arrive at The Sharpham Estate. Along the way we are likely to see Canadian geese, swans, ducks, herons, egrets, oyster catchers and other bird-life, and if we're lucky, seals as well. The canoeing is gentle and easy going, but enough to work up a good appetite for the sumptuous riverside picnic that awaits you. After the picnic, we paddle back to Totnes or Stoke Gabriel (depending on tides), finishing off about 3pm.
Suitable for novice canoeists and food lovers! (Adults and older children only.)
Please note: You MUST contact the organiser once yoiu have booked. If you turn up on the day without having done this there may not be space for you on the trip.
