The Oceanarium is the perfect all-weather attraction to visit for some fin-tastic family fun this summer holiday! Enter a magical underwater world and come face to face with all of your favourite marine creatures including giant sea turtles, mischievous otters, brightly coloured clownfish, beautiful blue tangs and of course the loveable playful penguins!
Additionally throughout the school summer holiday, from Friday 22nd July to Sunday 4th September activities will include:
• MEET THE CREATURE SESSIONS – get up close to creatures including; bearded dragons and creepy crawlies.
• Complete the ‘OLYMPIC SKILLS TOP TRUMP TRAIL’ in celebration of this summer’s Rio 2016 and discover fascinating facts about some of the marine world’s super skills.
• Help FEED THE TURTLES* - throw the turtles favourite food to them during our main feeding sessions on Turtle Beach.
Plus NEW – get a chance to waddle amongst our lovable group of Humboldt penguins in our new Penguin Encounter Experiences. You’ll fall head over flippers in love as the penguins are invited to step out onto the visitor walkway for an even closer encounter!**
Located beside Bournemouth beach, the Oceanarium is easy to find; follow brown signs for the Oceanarium, Pier and beaches or BIC.

*All activities are included in the standard admission price, except Feed the Turtles - £2 donation in aid of BIAZA Rainforest Reserve Campaign. Offered on first come, first serve basis due to turtles dietary requirements and subject to availability.
**Penguin Encounter Experiences are a free experience and offered to a limited number of people on a first come first served basis. Experience happens at 10.15am daily, but can be cancelled at managers discretion. This experience is only applicable to standard paying visitors, not available for pre-booked groups or under 3’s.
