Set against the stunning backdrop of the castle, the fair will play host to a fantastic Christmas market, with plenty of stalls featuring festive food and fare. We will also have Christmas trees and yuletide wreaths available.
An abundance of exciting Xmas activities awaits you, including a children’s art competition, with the overall winner having the enviable honour of switching on the Christmas lights. The Kid’s Christmas Gardens Trail is also sure to be a big hit with your little ones. And who could forget Father Christmas? Santa Claus will be making a special visit for all the good boys and girls!
And there’s more! On the Friday evening Nithsdale Choir will be getting us all into the Christmas spirit with performances at 6.15pm and 7.15pm. Blackstone Clydesdales will be making a special appearance for rides on the Saturday.
The tearoom will be offering delicious warming soups, turkey and stuffing baguettes, and plenty of sweet treats including mince pies and shortbread, and much more. Hot drinks will include classic Christmas options including mulled wine gingerbread latte, cinnamon latte, and hot chocolate & marshmallows.
