Barleylands Craft Village: Set in picturesque landscaped courtyards Barleylands Craft village hosts around 30 working crafts including Blacksmiths, Glassblowers, Potters, Wood Turner and Floral Designer to name but a few. The Craft Village is free to tour and there is no charge for parking. Parents can keep the little ones amused by a visit to the Farm Centre (£3.00 per person or family of four just £10.00) which has lots of friendly animals you can feed, and plently of play equipment. More fun can be had by taking a ride on our miniature railway.

You can enjoy a light lunch or Coffee in the Tea Rooms or have a more substantial dining experince in the Magic Mushroom Restaurant.

Our showground hosts visiting shows throughout the year and The Essex Country Show is held the 2nd weekend in September each year (2006 is the 20th).
