Coalhouse Fort Overnight Ghost Hunt

Coalhouse Fort, Saturday, 19 May 2012 - Sunday, 20 May 2012

Coalhouse Fort Overnight Ghost Hunt: Coal House Fort is a Victorian Coastal Defense Fort, which is next to the River Thames in East Tilbury, Essex.

The Fort was built in 1874 to defend the approaches to London from the threat of invasion from France and other Foreign Countries.

This particular Fort is said to be one of the finest examples of an armored casemated Fort in the United Kingdom.

Since 1983 the Fort has been leased to the Coal House Fort Project, which is a voluntary organisation, who has worked hard to help the Fort keep much of its original Architectural form.

Coal House Fort has over 600 years of Military History so there is no surprise that this location is very, very active.

This location is filled pitch black tunnels where you can't see your hand infront of your face, when the lights go out! the fort takes on a truly frightening personality.

Volunteers at the Fort have witnessed Ghostly Apparitions and Strange mists before their very eyes and the feeling of being followed and chased. The Voices and the laughter of a child, along with heavy footsteps and the sound of something being dragged along the floor and the sound of ghostly music are just some of the strange phenomena experienced in the dark that is coalhouse fort.

UK Living TV's Most Haunted once visited here as did The Only Way id Essex both had lots of ghostly activity including extreme poltergeist activity. Other paranormal groups report full apparitions of soldiers and a tall man dressed in a top hate and long coat and finally a figure of a man is seen in silence pointing as if in fear.

During the night you will take part in vigils thats include a seance, table tipping, glass moving and much more, this is an extreme ghost hunt event not to be missed.
