Drama Club For 7-11´s And 12-16´s: Drama Clubs for 7-11s and 12-16s

Drama is a great way to build confidence and social skills whatever your age.

The emphasis for all our clubs will be voice, movement and mime, but most of all, we hope to create a safe environment where imaginations can roam free. Our team of professional actors will help broaden existing skills and discover new ones.

Being slightly more academic but no less practical, the older group will work on several acting styles and techniques to help create a well rounded performer. More emphasis will be placed on improvisation and creating work of their own.

Then in the second half of the term we shall move on to stage technique as we gear up to performance. Putting all they have learned to the test, each group shall end the term with a piece of drama especially written for them which they will perform in front of a live audience.

And that's just the first term!

The clubs will be held at the Salvation Army Hall, Shoeburyness every Thursday during term time 4.15pm-5.45pm for 7-11's and 6.15pm-7.45pm for 12-16 year olds. Each session costs £4. The clubs will be run by two professional working actors including 15/8 Theatre Company's founder, professional actor and playwright, Tania Freeman. We've already got a production for each group planned for December! Places are limited and running out fast so please book on 01702 290704 or email fifteeneight@hotmail.co.uk.
