Southend Museum: Southend Museum holds displays of local history, geology and wildlife, with special sections on the Thames Estuary and Victorian life. The museum is an excellent venue for local societies to meet in the evenings.
The displays tell the story of the natural and human history of south east Essex. The displays will shortly be undergoing considerable change, as we develop a local history gallery, following the opening of the Southend Discovery Centre
