Hayley Westenra: Gifted with a one-of-a-kind voice that has been described as pure, angelic, and "absolutely musically true", this classically trained soprano from New Zealand was recognized as a great musical talent from a very young age.

She recorded a demo album at the age of twelve, signed a recording deal with Universal Records New Zealand as a high-schooler, and went on to release two albums which sold very well in her home country.

At age sixteen, she became an international success with her release of her album "Pure", a mixture of classical, pop, and traditional Maori choral music.

This album has now sold over two million copies and has made Westerna the best-selling musical artist in New Zealand history.

Her newest album, "Paradiso", is a collaboration with the Italian composer Ennio Morricone, and has generated enthusiastic response from fans of both classical and crossover singers.

Her tour this year marks the tenth anniversary of her professional career, and she continues to draw audiences with her captivating musical arrangements and voice quality.
