About the bands -
HUNTER MUSKETT - Hunter Muskett played the clubs, colleges and festivals at home and abroad from 1968 to 1974. With the re-release of their first album and renewed interest in their music, they got back together again in 2010. Regular tours and two albums of new material followed; the latest CD 'Unafraid and Sober' was released earlier this year. Featuring Terry Hiscock, Chris George, Doug Mortimer and Roger Trevitt. See website www.huntermuskett.com
THE WHERES SPOT BAND - Formed in 2014 the band have developed an eclectic repertoire with inventive arrangements of both traditional and contemporary folk songs, distinctive vocal harmonies and an entertaining fun presentation. Their CD 'Five by Four' is available from their website. Featuring Chris Fraser-Betts, Dean Taylor, Gayna Taylor and Kelvin Ward. See website www.wheresspotband.com
The concert will be held on Saturday 22nd April 2017 at 8pm and will be held at the Barnhall Social Club in Wickford. The club provides a comfortable lounge bar setting with superb acoustics and a licensed bar. There is free parking on site and the details of how to get there are on our website. Doors open 7:30pm. We aim to finish by 11pm.
However, numbers at Barnhall are limited, so admission will be by ticket only. You need to buy your tickets in advance from our website at www.wheresspotband.com/tickets Tickets are £10 each and there is no additional booking fee - but please buy early to avoid disappointment! You won't be able to get tickets on the door.
This is going to be a truly memorable evening's entertainment and a rare opportunity to see one of the original top bands from the 60's (and us!) locally.
