Cannibal Corpse: It's not everyday that you get to hear a band that has been around for more than a decade but still is as brutal and cutting edge as ever.

This is what you get to experience with Cannibal Corpse.

The undeniable kings of death metal, Cannibal Corpse has been providing head bangers all over the world something to look forward to.

From the deeply guttural vocals of George 'Corpsegrinder' Fischer, to the heart thumping bass lines of Alex Webster, Cannibal Corpse always leaves its true fans asking for a lot more. Their controversial music has landed them in a lot of legal troubles but this has never come in between the way they make music.

It has always been and will be as heavy as it can be.

Songs like 'Hammer smashed face' makes every heavy metal fan want to become a musician like them.

It just proves a band's talent when one can see thousands of people queuing up for their gigs all over the world and that too without getting any radio or television airtime that is what Cannibal Corpse has achieved over the years and It won’t be too far fetched to call them the pioneers of death metal music who showed the world how metal is really done.

Telford-based electro-rock band You and What Army describe themselves as "having unforgivingly catchy trance synths that soar over tectonic-plate-shatteringly heavy guitar riffs, dancefloor-destroyingly awesome basslines and lowrider-cruisingly phat beats, with the narrated apocalypse rapped, sung and screamed wildly into the fray." That's one massive claim, so BritEvents' Lucy Middleton catches up with the four piece band to find out more about their epic sound.
