Painswick Rococo Garden

Painswick Rococo Garden, Painswick, Gloucestershire, GL66TH

Painswick Rococo Garden: Situated outside the beautiful Cotswold town of Painswick, the garden is a fascinating step back to the flamboyant English Rococo period. This gem of a garden, which was originally laid out in the 18th century, is set in a hidden Cotswold valley with magnificent views of the surrounding countryside.

This 6 acre garden is set in a secret Cotswold valley with magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. It is a unique example of the brief but flamboyant period of English Rococo Design.

A walk around the Garden can take nearly an hour, but this is not a place to rush from feature to feature. Stroll aound. sit and enjoy the peaceful and magical atmosphere. Bring a book and immerse yourself in the ambience.

Don't miss out on our Anniversary Maze. Designed by local Painswickian Angela Newing it celebrates the Garden's 250 anniversary.
