Seasonal Extravaganza for local families in Edgware.
Featuring make and take workshops where little shoppers can decorate their own autumnal crafts from pumpkins and bats to ghosts and wizards, as well as free face painting, the event is set to feature something to get every member of the family involved in the fun.
Children are also invited to take part in the town’s free 7th annual fancy dress treasure hunt and this year’s theme is storybook characters. Those wishing to take part in the hunt should meet outside Costa Coffee within The Broadwalk Centre at 3.30pm to register their attendance and collect their treasure hunt clues. From there participants will be encouraged to search for clues around Edgware town centre and Station Road, collecting treats along the way. Participants will then finish back at The Broadwalk Centre where they will be treated to a special Wacky Wizard show and the fancy dress winners’ presentation.
Running from 2pm until 6.30pm within The Broadwalk Centre and around the town, the day is set out as follows:
• 2pm until finish- Free face painting within The Broadwalk Centre (outside Costa coffee)
• 2pm-6pm: Make and Take Workshop within The Broadwalk Centre
• 3.30pm: Treasure hunt registration and bag collection within The Broadwalk Centre (outside Costa Coffee)
• 5pm-6.30pm: Wacky Wizard Show and hunt finale where Captain Calamity will judge all parents and children’s costumes and announce the winner of the fancy dress competition.
