After being banished by crooked Judge Turpin, Benjamin Barker returns to London in pursuit of vengeance under the new guise of Sweeney Todd. Encountering the eccentric Mrs Lovett whose meat pies are renowned as being the worst in London, the two strike a partnership with Sweeney’s newly opened barbershop taking residence above Mrs Lovett’s pie shop. From being the worst pies in London, Mrs Lovett’s pies are soon the talk of the town with business booming. However, a dark secret clouds the story behind their newfound success as one by one Sweeney Todd is working his way through his victims with a view to finally meeting Judge Turpin. Will Sweeney get the revenge he so craves? Will he and Mrs Lovett’s gruesome business and its dark secrets be uncovered?
For one week only, FFBOS brings the classic Tony Award winning musical to life at The Dugdale Centre in Enfield. Be sure not to make it a close shave, and get your ticket for what promises to be an un missable theatre experience delivered by North London’s premier theatre company.
