Folk In The Park is a day-long live music festival in the heart of the South London borough of Sutton, taking place in the award-winning green space, Manor ParkOn 27th August 2022, FITP organisers will be bringing you a line-up of some of the best UK music you'll see anywhere this summer

Folk in the Park will feature no fewer than 15 artists and more than nine hours of music across two stages, and includes performances by Mercury Music Prize-nominated pop-rock-folk heroes the Magic Numbers, as well as a solo set by their co-founder Michele Stodart; Matt Owens and The Delusional Vanity Project (featuring the former member of the acclaimed Noah and the Whale); the Ric Sanders Trio, fronted by the longtime fiddle player with folk legends Fairport Convention; iTunes chart-topping singer-songwriter John Smith; Americana UK award-nominated Hannah White; much-admired, widely-travelled troubadour Peter Bruntnell; and London-based "urban folk" Dubliner Louis Brennan

Also in the impressive line-up are such notable names on the roots music scene as Ags Connolly, Charlotte Enegren and Rebecca Riedtmann; fellow Sound Lounge favourites John Lovell, Dick Philpot and Phil Hooley; and local community folk outfit the Wandle Ceilidh Band

As well as live music there'll be food stalls, a bar, craft workshops and a family zone for the little onesAdvance tickets for the festival are outstanding value at just £15, and VIP tickets at £30 will offer an exclusive covered marquee, a glass of Prosecco on entry, and a dedicated bar, toilets and seating

Folk In The Park meets our sustainable standards by ensuring all food is locally sourced and plant-basedThe beer is locally and naturally brewed and the wine is from a local, carbon-neutral supplierAll packaging used in this event will be compostable and there will be no single-use plastics
