Be wowed by a new commission from London-based visual artist Melanie Manchot entitled Dance (All Night, London)
As part of east London’s exciting Art Night 2017 (a night of free contemporary art from 11 artists), Manchot has conceived an exuberant and fun collective performance from dance schools around the East End - from Chinese dance to Argentine tango. On the night, the dancers will perform through the streets of London before arriving at Exchange Square in Broadgate.
Then from 10pm to 1am, Exchange Square will be transformed into a temporary stage with free dance lessons to the public. When the lessons have finished the space will then become an open dance floor until 4am complete with silent disco headphones.
The project encourages audiences to come and dance in the square, to experience these vibrant rhythms and learn something new.
