Funhouse Comedy Club brings more fun and laughter to The Kings Head Hotel, Cirencester on Friday February 9th
Topping the bill is the somewhat cynical and gloomy Mike Gunn, who despite this has the ability to get the crowd on his side, however far he pushes! In his first Edinburgh Festival Show, he appeared as a funeral director! He has appeared on numerous TV programmes, including Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow (BBC1), Celebrity Deal or no Deal (CH 4), and Harry Hill's TV Burp (ITV)He has also been a contributor for The Guardian and written for Time Out, The List and Match of the Day Magazine and was support for Lee Mack on a huge theatre tour
Opening the night will be Pierre Hollins who has been an audience favourite on the comedy circuit for many years, and has headlined at clubs throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East and AsiaIn the early days, he worked as a support act to Lenny Henry and Rory Bremner, appeared in the West End with Rita Rudner and toured with The Flying Pickets, Willie Rushton and Barry CryerHe has completely re-invented his act several timesIn a more recent incarnation, he was found wielding an electric squash racket! His relaxed amiability is defined by a compelling conversational style and absurd guitar posturing
Completing the line-up is Scottish comedian, writer and actor Alan FrancisHis intelligent and entertaining material challenges his audiences thoughts while at the same time keeps them amusedHaving performed stand-up around the world he is a naturally funny man
Compere for the night will be Demitris Deech renowned for his ad-libbing he has been support act for several well-known comedians such as Alan Carr, Russell Howard, Rhod Gilbert and has appeared on television with Alan Davis
