CHAT4Dementia has been running for over three years as a support platform for those caring for a person with dementia
Due to Covid changes, we have had to move premisesSt Mary Magdalene Church (Appleton), have kindly said we can use their hall every Thursday from 8pm, with the exception of the third Thursday of each month as another group has use of the hall then
Meetings are free, and tea/coffee is provided
Members have always been friendly and welcoming to new faces, and all have said they felt better after having talked to others going through similar experiencesWe have had husbands/wives, children and even close friends of someone with dementia attend our meetingsAll carers are welcome
As the meetings are a safe space to be able to talk freely, we ask that everything said in the group is treated as confidential
