Dum Dum Girls: Crashing onto the scene in 2008 with their unique blend of indie pop, The Dum Dum Girls have gone on to become one of America's most accessible yet eclectic indie rock acts.
Frontwoman Dee Dee Penny first began working on The Dum Dum Girls as a solo project, but upon being signed by Sub Pop on the strength of her song writing, The Dum Dum Girls soon became a four piece group.
Deriving their name from the title of an album by the Vaselines as well as a song by Iggy Pop, the Dum Dum Girls seemingly wear their influences and mission statement on their sleeves, living up to such an title in every way.
Their music is a timeless yet hip version of indie rock music, drawing equally on the sweetness of indie pop as well as the noisy grating guitars of shoegaze and punk.
The band have released a series of critically acclaimed EPs and two albums including their latest, Only In Dreams.
The Dum Dum Girls are currently on a tour that will take them throughout America and eventually to Europe.
