TV COMEDIANS COME TO SOUTHWELL
Funhouse Comedy Club brings another great line-up of comedians to the Saracens Head, Southwell on Thursday February 8th
Topping the bill is slightly camp, middle-class funnyman Hal CruttendenHaving a background in professional acting he has made numerous TV appearances, including 'Live at The Apollo', 'Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow', 'The Royal Variety Performance', 'The Rob Brydon Show', 'Let's Dance for Comic Relief', 'Would I Lie To You', 'Sunday Night at the Palladium', 'Mock The Week', 'The Great British Bake Off - Extra Slice', 'Celebrity Squares', and Pointless CelebritiesWith his ability to mix the personal, the surreal, the ridiculous and the political he delivers an energetic and absorbing performance
Opening the night will be Mandy Muden the only woman ever to combine comedy and magic on the UK comedy circuitShe has appeared on numerous TV programmes including most recently ITV's 'Britain's Got Talent' where the judges loved her and gave her a standing ovation, taking her through to the semi-finals; as well as 'Celebrity Come Dine With Me' and 'The World's Greatest Magic', in 2023 she also made the semi-finals of America's Got TalentHer string of mad, disastrous tricks and ridiculous jokes leaves her audience in tears of laughter
Also appearing is the intelligent and likeable Australian comic, Mick NevenKnown for his hilarious, observant, sharp and satirical, material the never-ending stream of punchlines take his jokes to the next level
Completing the line-up will be the bright and confident Nicky Wilkinson, with her authentic tales and opinion on everyday life
