Florence Nightingale Museum: Florence Nightingale was a legend in her lifetime but the Crimean War years which made her famous were just two out of a life of ninety years. A collection of artefacts and other material connected with Florence Nightingale has been preserved from the early years of the twentieth century at St Thomas Hospital and the Nightingale Training School.

The collection has been known variously as the `Nightingale relics, `the treasures and the `Nightingalia. The Museum is divided into various thematic areas, which were broadly: childhood and early travels, the Crimean War, the Army and India, nurse training and old age.

Monday - Friday 10.00 - 17.00 (last admission 16.00)

Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holiday Mondays 10.00 - 16.30

(last admission 15.30)

Closed Good Friday, Easter Sunday, 24 December - 2 January
