Betty and The Bootleggers are a 5 piece Rhythm and Blues and Blues band headed by Betty Wilde on vocals with Matt Hanson on Guitar, James Godden on Sax and Harmonica, Dave Longman on Drums and Dave Raven on Double Bass
Powerhouse, Betty Wilde, is influenced by the femme fatale collective of the 1950's Rhythm and Blues and Blues legends such as Ruth Brown, LaVern Baker, Big Maybelle, Mary Ann Fisher, Big Mama Thornton and Varetta Dillard as well as Howlin Wolf, Little Richard (fatale in his own deadly way) and the queen of Chicago Blues Koko TaylorThis eclectic mix of artists feature in their sets guaranteed to keep your feet stomping, hips and arms swinging all through the night until the early morn!
