House Music Take a musical journey through time and space as we explore the architectural heritage of popular song and dance.
Folky Fun Sing-Along 11am Drop in for a sing-along of favourite folk tunes sung in cottages of long ago.
Parlour Pop 12.30pm Tap your toes to the greatest hits of the Victorian parlour.
House Party Dance Off 3.30pm Raise the roof and get down to hip hop hits from the ‘80s and ‘90s with performer Lasana Shabazz.
Street Party 10am-3pm Add your inspired creation to our massive streetscape mural.
This House Demands a Better Future 2pm The RIBA Young People’s Forum leads a critical debate over the housing crisis and its impact on the next generation. Join the conversation and have your say in a hands-on workshop that follows.
The House of Tomorrow: A Digital Workshop 12pm and 2pm Use Photoshop and digital drawing to design a new house for the future inspired by buildings from across the world and images from the RIBA collections. This event is first come, first served. Door opens ten minutes before the start of the workshop. Ideal for ages 7+.
