Kayak the Thames from Greenwich to Battersea. The trip is with the tide and suitable for all abilities including complete novices.

Go with the flow. Kayak Bus is a one-way trip from Greenwich all the way to West London. A 100% sight seeing trip, passing all of London's top landmarks, easily viewed from the seat of a kayak. Passing The Cutty Sark, Canary Wharf, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Bankside and the Globe, St Pauls, South Bank, London Eye, Houses of Parliament, Lambeth Palace, Mi6 and many other landmarks. See London as its meant to be, from the river. Journey time is a good 3 hours, is with the tidal flow making the trip suitable for all abilities including complete beginners.

We use stable double kayaks with rudders, all kit provided and staffed by professional guides. The trip is for adults only. London Kayak Company is a British Canoeing Approved Paddle Sports Provider and compliant with the Port of London Authority. We run at least 1 trip per month, if date advertised is not suitable get back to us we may be able to do a bespoke booking.

Where does the event start and finish?

We will meet you on the beach in Greenwich by the Old Naval College also known as Greenwich University. We launch off the beach close to the Trafalgar Tavern, Park Row, Greenwich, London, SE10 9NW

Your trip will finish by the slipway next to St Mary Church, Battersea Church Rd, London SW11 3NA

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Bring comfortable clothes to paddle in, dress for the weather including a pair of training shoes you don't mind getting muddy. Bring a light snack to keep your energy levels up and a bottle of water to stay hydrated. We supply all equipment including good quality waterproofs. Also bring a complete change of clothes.
