Tony Law
‘Takes post-modern stand-up to a dangerously funny new level’ The Guardian
‘Chaos has rarely been so finely constructed and this much fun’ The Times
Tony Law is a three-time Chortle Award winner, Amused Moose Best Show winner and Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee. He is known for his highly surreal material and delivery, and eclectic historical style of dress, favouring boots with turned-up jeans and a Viking/explorer style of hair. His extensive TV and radio credits include: Have I Got News For You (BBC One), The Alternative Comedy Experience (Comedy Central), 8 Out Of 10 Cats (Channel 4), Celebrity Mastermind (BBC One), Celebrity Squares (ITV) Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC Two). This year, Tony will be recording his BBC Radio 4 show, Tony Law: 21st Century Adventurer!
Andrew Ryan
‘An hour of hilarious comedy’ EdFestMag
‘Hard not to enjoy’ The Daily Record
Andrew Ryan is now one of the most sought after comics to emerge in recent years, in demand as a headliner and an MC at the biggest comedy clubs and festivals across Ireland and the UK. His quintessentially Irish storytelling abilities and cheeky, friendly demeanour makes him a natural observational stand up. Andrew has performed stand-up on BBC3’s Russell Howard’s Good News, Best of the Edinburgh Festival Live on BBC3, Live at The Comedy Store for Comedy Central, and Live for MIND on Comedy Central.
Kelly Convey
‘1 of 9 Hilarious Women to Look Out For in 2017’ Metro
‘Kelly is a bright and filthy new star.’ Funny Women
Kelly Convey is an 'in-your-face and reassuringly confident' (Marissa Burgess – Chortle) comedian who is not one to mince her words when giving audiences an insight into what modern women really think. While her outspoken and forward-thinking musings may go against the grain, 'there’s a winning authenticity to her material' (Steve Bennett – Chortle) that is refreshing and relatable. This authenticity has led to a whole host of accolades and acknowledgments in her whirlwind rise through the comedy scene. Voted by The Metro as '1 of 9 Hilarious Women to Look Out for in 2017, Kelly is, no doubt, one to watch.
Darren Harriott (MC)
‘Passionate, articulate, witty and bursting with streetwise confidence.’ Evening Standard
'he’s properly funny...a man who wouldn’t dream of touching on a topic unless he had a crisp line on it.' The Times
Darren Harriott is one of the most exciting up-and-coming comedians on the circuit. Over the last year, he has appeared on Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central, and supported Jimmy Carr on tour. He also provided tour support for Funmbi Omotayo. Darren then headed to the Edinburgh Festival 2016, as part of the prestigious Pleasance Reserve, where he featured on the comedy show, BBC Radio 4 Extra Stands Up. His debut Edinburgh Fringe hour this year, Defiant, received numerous rave reviews, including from The Times and the Evening Standard.
