This course is suitable for people with basic hand sewing skills. If you can stitch on a button then you will be able to manage this class.
You will learn:
how to stiffen felt
how to block a wool felt crown and brim
how to make a petersham head fitting
how to wire a brim
how to bind a brim
how to trim your hat with a classic petersham hat band
All materials, equipment and tuition is included in the price of the workshop. Due to the nature of the tools and equipment used (steam, irons, rotary cutters) this workshop is not suitable for anyone under the age of 18 years.
