Join Sue Ryder and complete a fun, illuminated 5k or 10k hike under the stars to remember our loved ones.
Take the chance to celebrate the memory of a loved one, or just come along to support our brilliant services whilst soaking up the electric atmosphere.
Local band, Rufus Ruffcut, will be performing for us throughout the evening to keep you all going, and Sarah who runs fun Clubbercise sessions in the Reading area will be joining us to get you all limbered up before you head off into the fairy-lit wonderland.
We’ve something for everyone, with a choice between a 5k for those new to hiking or 10k route for the more experienced of you out there. Your canine buddies are more than welcome, and we encourage dressing up (both you and the dog!) – the more bright, colourful, and twinkly the better! Don’t worry if you don’t have anything that glows as we’ll be providing you with an opportunity to buy this on the night with all proceeds going to Sue Ryder. Registration opens from 5pm but the walk doesn’t start until 6.30pm so there’s time for you to grab a bite to eat in the canteen before you head off, have a little dance, and try your luck on the raffle!
