Guerrilla Tactics is the RIBA’s flagship professional event for small to medium-sized practices, which runs over two days.
The Conference Day - Tuesday 8 November 2016‘Super Models’ focuses on the potential that business models have to dynamically transform practice.
Over the course of the day, more than 10 practitioners will be revealing their alternative business models and how they have set about implementing them. The conference will open with a keynote from Marks Barfield Architects, who have led the way as practising architects taking the initiative in the financing and development of landmark entertainment projects: most notably as designers of the London Eye and the recently completed British Airways i360 in Brighton.
Speed-Mentoring Evening - Tuesday 8 November 2016
The conference day ticket encompasses an evening drinks reception and the highly successful Speed-Mentoring Evening. This affords delegates the opportunity to pair up with inspiring role models. Mentors this year include: Nigel Coates, Zac Munro, Eric Parry and RIBA President Jane Duncan. A full programme of mentors, including leading clients and contractors as well as architects, will be released a few weeks before the event. Delegates must pre-book to attend, free of charge, in advance of the evening.
The CPD Day - Wednesday 9 November 2016
The CPD day will offer a full day of 25 seminars covering all ten RIBA Core Curriculum topics, with engaging sessions from expert practitioners on relevant issues.
