Rock the Strand at Strand Palace Hotel Live Music & Concerts

‘Rock the Strand’ returns to Strand Palace Hotel on Thursday 27 July for a summer showcase featuring a stellar line-up of talented artists.

The July event kicks off at 7.30pm with music from folk guitarist Davide Sanna followed by soul and jazz artist CHA:DY. Fiery singer/songwriter ILONA will also warm up the crowd with her powerful vocals before legendary Tony Moore takes to the stage as headline act.

Situated in the hotel’s Lounge Bar revellers can indulge with tipples from the bar’s extensive drinks menu, which includes bottled beers, ciders, aperitifs and cocktails.

7.30pm Davide Sanna
Davide is a London-based guitarist, singer songwriter, producer and performer from Sardinia. He combines styles that echo traditional folk roots mixed with his innovative approach to playing the guitar and composing. 

8.30pm CHA:DY
Influenced by Erykah Badu, Adele and Amy Winehouse, CHA:DY’S music is a mix of Pop/R&B, with a bit of jazz & hip hop on top. CHA:DY has performed on famous stages in London, including 02 Academy Islington.

9:20pm ILONA
ILONA is a truly original performer with a unique tone, a natural sense of dynamics and the ability to sing a lyric, tell a story and make people know she means it. Since beginning her musical career, ILONA has already achieved an enormous amount. She’s won awards for video as well as live performance, she’s also performed at SXSW (in Austin, Texas) and played shows in LA, New York, Nashville and across Europe.

9:45pm - Tony Moore
Tony's long and eclectic career in the music business includes being a founding member of Iron Maiden at the end of the 70s, and as the keyboard player in Cutting Crew. For the last few years he has also been co-writing, producing and touring the world with emerging artist ILONA. Tony is currently recording material for a solo album having just released the lead single, a powerful ballad called Perfect And Beautiful.
