In a world where so much emphasis is placed on the need for instant gratification and where all social life is measured against the ability to consume, have our hardwired instincts become mere shopping decisions?

What parallels are there between picking a new mate and a new pair of shoes? And how does this, in turn, influence modern sexuality?
Sex and shopping is a panel discussion hosted by the concept store Alex Eagle Studio with Baron and Baroness Magazines, inviting a range of panel guests who one way or another have explored sex and consumption in their practice, including creative director Yvonne Gold, conceptual artist Sarah Baker, intimates designer Elliss Solomon, Matthew Holroyd founder of Baron and Baroness Magazines, and historian and designer Toby Mott.
