You’ll explore social media, how it can work well, how to create engaging and shareable content and how to fix things when they go wrong. There will be lots of opportunity to discuss how you currently use social media and give you a chance to step back and really examine how to get the most from all platforms.
The course will cover:
• What is social media? • Why use social media • How to engage your audience • What to include in a social media strategy • How to enhance your marketing • How to create engaging content • How to plan your content effectively • Creating a social media policy • Measuring what works and what doesn’t
The day includes plenty of group work, exercises and discussion – you definitely won’t be staring at power point all day. You’ll also be given lots of opportunities to discuss your own experiences and develop personal strategies to aid your work.
If you have one, you are welcome and encouraged to bring your own laptop, tablet, smartphone or any device you use for your social media. You will be practicing live exercises on the day.
Who should attend this course?
This course is designed for both experienced and novice social media users. Whether you’re just about to launch a social media strategy or you want to add new skills, you’ll find this course is for you.
