The Sharpees

In the line up two Irish top musicians ( former Nine Below Zero):
Brendan O'Neill - Drums ( Nine below Zero - Rory Gallagher)
BillyBoy Miskimmin ( Nine Below Zero - The Yardbirds) on blues harp and vocals.

The Sharpees is a London based band, formed from the ashes of the 70s band Rebel, who mostly played in and around the London and Kent areas. At this time the Sharpees were Bill Mead, Pete Goodey and John Smith until the band suspended activities in nineteen eighty four, which wen on to be a twenty year resting period.
Bill Mead reconvened the band in two thousand and three, but this time with Baz Payne on bass, Brendan O"Neill on drums and of course Bill Mead playing guitar and lead vocals. This is the current band line-up with the exception that Brendan O'Neill (Rory Gallagher/9 Below Zero) is now the permanent drummer.
About 6 months ago Billyboy Miskimmin joined the Sharpees, he's a vituosa on the bluesharp and a very good addition to the band.

The Skylarks

Where lyrics deal in barely submerged sexuality and sly wit.
The Skylarks weave a narrative into their music – an inscrutable subtext.
We borrow freely from the 50's and 60's for our visual style and our music source.
And We bring it all kicking and screaming into contemporary life.
