LOTS OF LAUGHTER AT THE GUILDHALL
Funhouse Comedy Club is back at the Guildhall Arts Centre Ballroom on Thursday March 30th for another night full of laughter
Topping the bill is the energetic and satirical writer and comedian Geoff Norcott who recently won a BBC Radio and Music Award for Best Comedy Production and has many TV credits to his name, including Live at The Apollo (BBC 2), The Mash Report (BBC2), Question Time (BBC2) and Comedy Bigmouths (C5)He delivers an eclectic mix of dark material, impressions and politics with a confident smile and optimismHis shrewd standpoints on life make his anecdotes extremely captivating and leave everyone wanting for more
Opening the night will be Rob Rouse, ever exuberant and recognizable from his many TV appearances including 'Upstart Crow', '8 Out Of Ten Cats', John Bishop's Only Joking', 'Celebrity Juice', 'Dave's One Night Stand' and 'The Friday Night Project', as well as making a guest appearance on 'Coronation Street'With his cheeky banter and extremely funny tales, he's always one step ahead of his audience's expectations and keeps them enthralled with his comedic storytelling
Also appearing is the sometimes self-disparaging musical comedian, Friz Frizzle with his individual anecdotes and speedily delivered song parodies
Completing the line-up will be 'Brummie' funny man Tom Christian joint winner of 2015 Midland Comedy Awards New Act with his wonderfully clever routines and complex and silly wordplay
Compere for the night is the amiable and animated Spiky Mike
